Has anyone ever fired a large caliber rifle into the forrest and wondered where the bullet went? It has to stop somewhere, and I was fortunate enough to find it.
My brother and I cut this little ole cherry tree earlier this year and while we were re-sawing it we ran into some blue staining that shouldn't have been there. We were pretty sure what had caused it and proceded carefully. Finally came to the hole, ran a wire into the hole and proded around to find the source. Cut down a little closer and dug out what was left.
No damage to the saw blade, but it did mess up a pretty good piece of wood. There was a good bit of it so I don't guess a few pieces will be missed.
